About
Real journeys, filmed slowly.
Slow Travel TV began with a simple habit. Whenever we travel, we let the camera run, long and uncut, and we keep the whole journey instead of the highlight.
Most travel video is built to grab you and let go a few seconds later. We wanted the opposite: television you can leave on. A mountain railway that takes an hour to climb. A harbour that wakes up in its own time. A road that does not hurry, so you do not have to either.
Every channel here streams around the clock. There is no schedule to catch. You turn one on, and the trip carries on whether you are watching closely or just letting a place keep you company.
We film these journeys ourselves, on the ground. We also work with destinations that want their own place shown the same way: slowly, and honestly to how it feels to be there.
